UCLA Vs. USC LAUGHBOWL!

UCLA Vs. USC LAUGHBOWL!

November 18, 2009 04:30 PM

During the weeks before the highly anticipated meeting between UCLA and USC on the gridiron on November 28, the World Famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood will invade each of the southern California campuses to find which college has the best sense of humor.
The ...Laugh Factory will send their camera crew to each campus and will film the students who are harboring their comic inner selves, post the results online, and open the voting to friends, family and the general public. The top 5 from each school will compete onstage at the Sunset Blvd. club, in front of a panel of professional comedians, in Hollywood’s first Annual “Laugh Bowl.”
The Laugh Factory will be at the Trojan’s campus at Ground Zero Cafe on Monday, November 16 from 6PM-8PM, and the Bruin’s campus at Kerckhoff Grand Salon on Wednesday, November 18 from 7PM-9PM. Young Funny Entertainment group will MC all events. UCLA’s Cultural Affairs Commission and the Student Committee for the Arts and USC’s Program Board for special events are hosting the campus invasions. The top 10 performances from each college will be posted online for a two week span and the top vote getters from each school will be booked for a battle of the funniest on the stage of the Laugh Factory on December 3.
The winner gets his or her own gig at the Laugh Factory, their name and school name up on the Sunset Boulevard marquee and 5,000 dollars in Laugh Factory gift certificates. The winner’s school receives the Laugh Bowl trophy, commissioned by Laugh Factory founder Jamie Masada and bragging rights for the year as the college with the best sense of humor.
Plus, featured performers Pluglifes own King Anyi and Stroy Moyd!
