Capturing California’s Preserved Lands and Historic Districts: Paintings from the Southern Sie

As one of its Centennial exhibitions, the California Art Club will present at its gallery at The Old Mill Capturing California’s Preserved Lands and Historic Districts: Paintings from the Southern Sierra Foothills. This exhibition spotlights nearly 40 works that capture the vibrant vistas which embrace the southern Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley each spring. The display is the result of a special invitation from the Sequoia Riverlands Trust, which asked Club artists to travel to California’s heartland and paint the scenic surroundings in order to preserve its natural and agricultural legacy on canvas for generations to come.
